Yesterday I came home to a wonderful green package waiting for me. I immediately knew it was my Personal Planner.
It seemed to get here in no time at all. I expected it to take awhile as their website says it takes up to three weeks just to print it. In between placing the order and receiving it in my mailbox, it was 10 days. That's pretty amazing if you ask me.
The size is 5.8"x8.1". It cost me $55cdn, taxes and shipping included.
This is my planner. Underneath the pen is my name.
There are many different designs that you can pick for your cover, including your own images. I wanted to create a collage for mine and even found the cover dimensions, but in the preview the pictures seemed to hang too far over the edges so I eventually gave up. I wish there were more options like being able to add a personal photo in the center with one of their backgrounds but it's either all your design or all theirs. No mixing.
I went with a simple light pink bird design.
After that's you're able to choose how you want you dates laid out and if you want the time slots in there. I did. So I got time slots (they go hourly from 6am to 11pm) with some room for writing lists etc under neath. You're able to choose three boxes to go in the bottom of the pages. I chose 'List of the week', 'To do this week' and 'Dinners this week'.
In the back, you get a two year overview, with a little space to write if needed. If you sign up and enter birthdays and such, you can get those automatically added (age included), which I did.
You get to choose what sections you want in the back (Sodoku, coloring book, blank, lined, etc). I choose lines and squares.
What I Like About the Planner:
- It has space with time slots and space to write like a general to-do list or whatever you want.
- It seems like it's good quality - it has the cover, then a plastic protector cover on top of that.
- It comes with a removable rules, elastic strap, and plastic envelope.
What I Don't Like:
- The writing spaces are pretty small.
- The hourly schedule - I got used to using one that does half-hour increments.
- I wish there was more spots to write lists and stuff without having to put it in the back.
Overall, I cannot wait to get using this - mine starts October 26th as I chose November 1st as my start date and Sundays are the last day of a week in this planner, so I got a full free week :p
I'll try to do another update once I actually get using it.
